...brought to you by Climate Action Ilkley
Climate Action Ilkley was formed in 2018 and became a registered charity in June 2020, charity number 1189801. Our aims are to promote community-wide action to tackle climate change and make a just transition to a resilient sustainable zero-carbon community for Ilkley. For more information about us, visit our website.
To raise awareness of the climate crisis, and to help us see what Ilkley could be like without cars.
The Car-Free Festival will take place on The Grove between 11am and 4pm on Sunday 19th September 2021.
The Grove will be closed from 9am to 5pm
We will be closing The Grove between Brook Street and St James Road, and so this part of the town will be car-free for the duration of the event.
